Our name reflects this belief. INGA takes its inspiration from Inga Falls on the Congo River, home to the largest untapped hydroelectric reserve on Earth. The power exists. It is real, measurable, and immense. What has historically been missing is the infrastructure needed to harness it.
We believe human potential is no different.
Our Story
Delphine and Chemu didn't set out to build a search firm together. They spent most of their careers on the inside of this work first. Delphine sourced strategic teams under proposal deadlines and program start-up with MSF, Land O'Lakes and Mercy Corps. Chemu built the talent systems behind One Acre Fund's growth across the African continent, and supports East African social enterprises to thrive through strong HR systems.
They met the way people in this sector usually do, through a referral. What convinced them to formalise it was the sector shifting under them. Finding talent has never been easier, but scratching below the surface has never been harder, and too often exceptional talent isn't getting matched to exceptional organisations.
